The couture lover in me is fainting over and over again!

This is so much fun! No only is it fun, but it's also unfair how gorgeous these girls are. Anyways, I wish someone recorded me while I was watching; a had a huge smile on my face, bobbing my head from side to side and singing along to the song, looking completely dumb! I am extremely interested in history. It interests me because you can never be sure of it. I think it would have been so interested to live in Paris in the 1700 and dress up for no reason; putting on huge ball gowns and corsets first thing in the morning. I would also love to live through WWII, I have some unexplained interest in that era. Maybe I suffered through those times in my past life, but that's a whole other story. This post, as you'll figure out yourself, is more related to dressing up...

I must say that I had a couple of great days with great company and great food for Thanksgiving. Now it's time to get back to my school state of mind so I can finish up writing a 5 page paper for my Art History class, study for my finals, and get into the holiday season mood. I'm already in the holiday mood, so 1 out of three is done ;)

Back in the comfort of my own house, with the heater running as high as it can get, my outfit pictures will look kind of bizarre. I know this outfit isn't perfect for the weather outside as of now, but that's San Francisco weather for you; for an hour, this outfit was perfect, then came the breeze! It's okay though - I'm the ind of person who wears their summer clothes for as long as they can. By the way, I was about 17 when I bought that necklace. I don't remember where from, but it's so old now that the the face is all erased from how much I've worn it... That's the beauty of old belongings, even though they're not in perfect condition, they feel perfect for you.

There is something about women dressing up; especially in long skirts, long dresses, or dresses with tails. It's not just the fact that it gives the woman classic beauty, but with the help of mix matching, you can look gorgeous and rough too! I've been looking for a long skirt for the longest time, and I still have no luck. Any ideas, anyone?

I love checkered shirts, as you might have noticed yourself. More than the way it looks, I like how it meshes the line of boy/girl. It's the one piece of print I notice both genders wear, but I like how it looks on men more than woman, and you know how much I love dressing up like a boy. With my slouchy pants and minus the heels, I might as well have been a boy. And you finally get to see a glimpse of my lovely photographer Caro on the reflection!

Sorry for the quick post, I have to make a list of groceries for monday!

I've had these pictures on my computer for a while, and was waiting for "the right time" to post them. It's funny, I have a huge editorial collection on my computer, and I always have certain days where I want to post certain things. Anyways, I would love to find a long cardigan like the one on the 4th picture - and a color that pops with prints would be a plus. I love it!

So I guess the main colors for next Spring for Prada are; all the colors! I don't ever remember Prada being this colorful in the recent year. Miu Miu, yes, but never Prada. I love this new approach! And I would love to own one of those hats and the tail thingies ASAP! ;)
