The weather outside is ridiculous. The fact that I have burning green tea in my hand is also ridiculous. What's even more ridiculous, are my shoes. Then again, they're also a great conversation starter, hence the perfect thing to put on on a "first day" of school for Intro To Fashion class. (The cupcakes are from yesterday when I had the laziest day in the world, and thought making cupcakes would make me a little less lazy.)

Disardaki hava olacak gibi degil, Istanbul'dan daha sicak oldugu kesin... Elimde yakici bir yesil cay olmasi da olacak gibi degil bu havada. En olacak gibi olmayansa ayakkabilarim! :) Gerci herkesle olabilecek olan soguklugu cok cabuk kiriyor, o yuzden de ilk dersime giymek icin mukemmel bir secimdi. (Son resimdeki cupcake'ler de dunden, kendimi o kadar tembel hissettim ki, uretken olmak icin kek pisirdim :) )

NorthBeachFestival

I absolutely love festivals. A couple of us (no pun intended, we were 3 couples) went to the North Beach Festival and enjoyed the weather, great food, great company, and happy people... When we came back home, I went to bed at 7:30m pm, and slept for 13 hours. Thats the power of a great day, and being jet lagged.

Festivallere gitmeye bayiliyorum! Dun birkac kisi North Beach Festival'a gidip havanin, birbirimizin, yemeklerin ve mutlu insanlarin keyfini cikarttik... Eve dondugumuzde ben 7:30'da uyudum, ve 13 saat sonra uyanabildim. Harika bir gunun ve saat farkina alisamamis olmanin gucu de bu olsa gerek...

I haven't had a "girls day out" in a long time. Lana and I, although we claim that we're not girly, had a complete girly day; lunch, Victoria's Secret, and dress shopping at Zara. I don't get to see her too often, but I love that girl.

I also finally got a chance to drop my class (well, it was cancelled anyways) where it was one other person, and me, and signed up for Introduction to Fashion Business. My advisor is very confused about my decisions as a producing major.

Uzun zamandir kiz kiza bir gun gecirmemistim. Lana ve ben ne kadar erkek cocugu gibi davrandigimizi soylesek de dun tamamen bir "kiz gunu" yasadik. Once ogle yemegi, sonra Victoria's Secret, sonra da Zara'da elbise arayislari...

Onun disinda sonunda iki kisilik dersimden cikip kendimi bir moda dersine yazdirdim. Yapimcilik ogrencisi olarak boyle moda dersleri secerek okuldaki danismanimin cok aklini karistiriyorum.

Last pictures from Istanbul, because I'm back in... Frisco! I like to look at long plane rides as an extremely expensive movie ticket that I paid for to see relatively old films. Therefore for the movies that I paid for for my recent flight - I WANT A REFUND. The Adjustment Bureau, (not the worst) Beastly, and, wait for it, NEVER SAY NEVER BY JUSTIN BIEBER. The crowd in the plane cheered when they heard the name, then come to find out, the movie was broken.

I got this new denim top from Beymen on my last day. Finally found the one, since I've been looking for denim shirts for quite a while now. I love it's color, and the length difference between the front and the back.

P.S. For those of you who are emailing me about your pictures, I'm waiting for more, that's why you're not seeing your pretty faces on here yet. So keep them coming!

Istanbul'dan son resimler, artik San Francisco'ya dondum. Uzun ucak yolculuklarina cok pahali film biletleri olarak bakmayi seviyorum, bu yuzden de dunki yolculugun sonunda bir iadeyi hak ediyordum. The Adjustment Bureau, Beastly, veeeee Justin Bieber'in Never Say Never'i! Ucaktaki insanlar bir alkis kopardi duyduklarinda, sonra da film bozuk cikti.

Bu jean ustu son gunumde Beymen'den aldim, ve sonunda bulabilmis olmaktan cok mutluyum. Aylardir jean bir ust bakiyordum ve bir turlu beyenemiyordum. Bunun rengi ve onunde kisa, arkasinda uzun olmasi cok hosuma gitti.
