OldSac

Having been to Sacramento a couple of times now, I've never seen "Old Sacramento," and enjoy the Western vibe. With not too many people around, it reminded me of an abandoned town with a lot of candy, ice cream and hot dogs. (For some reason, those were the option to choose from if you felt like eating at any point.) To make sure I don't overdress, but still impress, I pulled out my new boots ;)

Sacramento'ya birkac kez gelmis olmama ragmen "Old Sacramento" tarafina hic gitmemistim. Etrafta o kadar az insan vardi ki, terkedilmis bir kasaba havasi vardi, bir de nedense bol sayida dondurma, hot dog ve seker dukkanlari. Abartali giyinmemeye dikkat ederek yeni minimal botlarimi giydim ;)

You know when I feel great about myself? When I feel like I helped a friend out. And if I ever own up to saying something nice about myself, I can say I am a true friend. I have most of my friends so far away from me that without realizing, I began forgetting about how good it makes me to be there for someone else. Today, it took me about half an hour to put my beautiful neighbor in a better mood, which put me in a better mood.

An anonymous reader of mine asked me how my day goes. I'm afraid I don't have an exciting answer to that. I get up, work out when I have the time, go to school, take pictures for the blog, go on the internet for a couple of hours for work/blogging, watch some bad TV, read, and usually pass out before 12...

Ne zaman kendimi iyi hissediyorum biliyor musunuz? Arkadaslarimdan birine yardim ettigimde, ve kendimle ilgili soyleyecek guzel bir seyim varsa, o da iyi bir dost oldugumdur. Bugun guzel komsumu iyi hissettirmem yarim saat surdu! O iyi hissedince ben de daha iyi hissetmeye basladim.

Isimsiz bir follower'im bana normal bir gunumun nasil gectigini sormus, malesef cok degisik bir cevabim yok bu soruya. Uyanip zamanim varsa spora gidiyorum, sonra derse gidip cikista fotograf cekebilecek birini bulunca fotograf cektirtiyorum blogum icin :) Eve gelince de birkac saat is ve blog yazmakla geciyor. Her seyi halledince kitap okuyup utanilacak programlar izleyip yatiyorum! Genelde 12'den once uyumus oluyorum zaten...

Today is a special day. Not because I finally got 3 of the 5 books that I've ordered. Not because NS sent me a song of Sufjan Stevens, a song he wrote about his sister, telling her to stay strong. Also not because I had the tastiest home made Ceaser Salad I ever made for myself. But because it's a certain someone's birthday. Someone who my heart belongs to and someone who has a very big part in my life. So happy birthday.

I feel like I'm wearing this skirt in every way possible; with flats, with heels, with long tops, with shorter tops, as a skirt, and also as a dress. I love versatile pieces, or at least pieces that you make versatile.

Just taking advantage of the beautiful weather. Although my mom is the first person to get cold wherever she is, I have the tendency to not get cold that fast. Only my feet and hands feel like ice :) My mom got this dress a few years ago. Well, when she got it, it was a dress. After wearing it out, she got it cut into a top, which I then sort of stole from her closet. It has beautiful plead details in the back that I love. I don't wear it quite often, because the beading on the neck makes it pretty heavy, but I do like it a lot.

Havanin guzelliginden yararlanarak ince giyindim. Annem hava azicik soguk olsa bile hemen usur, ben o kadar cabuk usumuyorum. Sadece ellerim ve ayaklarim buz kesiyor :) Annem bu elbiseyi birkac sene once almisti, en azindan o aldiginda bu ust hala bir elbiseydi. Keyfini cikardiktan sonra elbiseyi kestirtip bir uste cevirttirdi, ben de hemen dolabindan yuruttum bunu :) Cok fazla giydigim bir ust degil, cunku boynundaki boncuklar cok agir yapiyor ustu, ama cok da seviyorum...

I have more fun at the Apple store than any other store that I go to, seriously. With all the gadgets, the tips on the big screens, and the genius' that are there to fix your computer for you, I feel more intelligent when I go in there, even though I don't understand most of the stuff that's going on. I had to go there today, because yesterday both my phone and my computer stopped working. Well, Safari wouldn't work on my computer, and my phone keeps on shutting off. It was like the death of technology at my place yesterday! Enough of the drama, I got the computer fixed, and I'm getting a new phone thursday.

Apple'in dukkanlarinda cok eyleniyorum. Anlamadigim binlerce alet, buyuk ekranlarda yayinlanan ve hayat kolaylastiran ipuclari, ve "Genius" bolumunde bilgisayarlari tamir etmek icin calisan zeki adamlar! Oraya gidince kendimi daha akilli hissediyorum resmen. Bugun bilgisayarimi tamire goturmem gerekti, cunku dun oglen hem bilgisayarim hem telefonum bozuldu. Yani bilgisayarimin Safari'si acilmamaya basladi, telefonum da durmadan kapanmaya basladi. Neyse, bugun bilgisayarimi hallettim, yarin ya da obur gun de yeni telefon almaya gitmem lazim...
