It's a little too soon to be homesick, but constantly getting pictures of the cutest twins is not helping me. It's also extremely cold in my apartment. I also already missed having home-cooked meals. And can I just mention being able to rest as much as I wanted? Let's not forget the snow. Also school started, and it's my last semester, and I don't want it to end. Wait, I'm getting confused about wanting to be home, or wanting to be here.

Istanbul'u ozlemek icin biraz erken ama ikizlerin resimleri geldikce icim gidiyor. Ayrica apartmanim buzzzz gibi. Evde yapilan yemeklerin tadi da damagimda kaldi. Bir de insanin dinlendikce dinlenesi geliyor. Kar da yagiyormus, kim bilir ne kadar guzeldir Istanbul. En kotusu okul basladi, ve bu benim son donemim, ve bitmesini hic istemiyorum. Kafam karisti, ne istedigimi ben de bilmiyorum :)

When I went a little crazy on my last day in Istanbul at Beymen, it was one of those few times that I actually needed every thing that I purchased, and I know that I'll be wearing every single piece. Plus most of it was on sale ;) And that's exactly how shopping should be done if you ask me; you need to buy things that you need, and a few pieces to spoil yourself, et voila! You got yourself a perfect wardrobe! 

Ps. Don't overlook your friend's (guy/girl) closets. I've had my eye on this vest of NS' for over four years, and I finally got a chance to snatch it from him :)

Had an Oscar overload for the past few days. As I always do, with the release of the nominee list of the Oscars, I start watching all the movies that I can that are on the list. I started with "Midnight in Paris," moved along to "Moneyball," and today, watched both "The Descendants" and "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close." Since leaving the movie theatre, I have reached my tear limit of the day, if not of the week. Thankfully I have friends coming over for some Taboo and beer...!

When my niece was born a couple of years ago, I was upset to have missed such an important event. However, the newest two additions to out family turned out to be more considerate, and decided to come to the world a couple hours before I left for San Francisco. Ali & Nil, my cousins beautiful kids, welcome to the world. And thanks for giving me the chance to see your precious faces before leaving. I will always be there for you, for the rest of your lives.

On another note, this is the last post from Paris. This skirt was the first thing I fell in love with when I went to meet Aysegul & Yasemin. And of course, it traveled with me over the Atlantic.

Birkac sene once yegenim dogdugunda Istanbul'da olmadigim icin ufak bir bunalim gecirmistim. Ailenin en yeni ikilisi, fasulyecikler, beni kirmayip ben San Francisco'ya donmeden birkac saat once dunyaya gelmeye karar verdiler. Ali'cik ve Nil'cik dunyaya hos geldiniz. Artik ben hep sizin yaninizdayim.

Tamamen konuyu degistirmek gerekirse, bunlar artik Paris'ten olan son resimler. Aysegul ve Yasemin'le tanismaya gittigimde ilk begendigim etek buydu. Tabi ki benle hem Paris'e, hem de San Francisco'ya geldi. :)
