A stylish downgrade from stilettos: sneakers. (Think Isabel Marant, high top Nike's, hell even think New Balance, but not ones tourists get mentally attacked for wearing in Paris.) The Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto is launching an exhibition about the history of sneaker culture on April 25th where die-hard collectors will have that sense of free fall I get when I walk around the shoe section in Barneys.
